My Experience at TEDxPhnomPenh!

Fortunately, I was invited to join the first TEDxPhnomPenh, which was held last Saturday at North Bridge School. The topic was Building Cambodia’s Future with 12 great speakers, both Cambodian and foreigners. At the beginning an artist from Japan with Kong Nai (Chpei Dong Veng) paired together and mixed music with art, I think they were so amazing, talented and well-organized. They attracted the audience attention very much.

Among those great speakers, I was really interested in a Cambodian young woman named Kounila who shared about blogs. Also Mr. Colin Wright who spoke about his Extreme Lifestyle experiment. Others shared about positive changes in life, from small things to big things grow. Mr. Mike Rios explained what made him quit his advertising job and how he found his happiness when he worked for meaning not money by helping people who are hungry and have few resources. Some speakers were a ton of fun for the audience.

Beside the speakers on the stage, the audience also got to know each other and shared what they thought of the topics and their own experiences at each table.

Even though it was the first time in Cambodia, I would say this event was very impressive and I would join again if I was invited!
